Help bleeding brakes was created by beretta
Hi, cam anyone give me a idiots guide to bleeding the brakes especially location of the nipples.
Will i have to bleed all the brakes, all that i am going to do is refurb the fromt left caliper, so i will only be touching that one.
Any particular tis to make it easy?
Cheers

Start with bleeding the rear, then passenger side the drivers side nipples.
Then to be 100% sure, the same order again but this time the feeds into the master cylinder.
Make sure the MC never runs dry of fluid.
Essentially you always bleed from the farthest points from the MC and work inwards to the nearest.

Cheers, do you have a rough location on the nipples?

The passenger side rear has a nipple that is exposed behind the back plate off the rear cylinder. The front calipers both have nipples.
Be careful, they are very easy to strip and snapoff if rusted or seized so be careful then trying to undo them!

Use a brake nipple spanner, a normal spanner will round off the nut.

Good point but the rear nipples are 8mm and I struggled to find any brake spanners this size so had to use a ring spanner which seemed fine.
But for the fronts the nipples are bigger. They are either 10 or 11mm, cant remember. Halfrauds do these sizes.
