Sammy guts in a jimny case

Never tried it but does anyone know if you can put sammy axle guts into a jimny case or is it easier just to weld some new brackets onto the Sammy cases ?

I believe the sammy axles are narrower than jimny axles although i could be wrong.

Possibly i know Sammys were 2 inches wider than Sj i know lots of jimny axles break also i never broke any of my Sj axles so just wondered if they are better cant be that much diffrence will prob be able to make it fit :)

I have Sammy axles into a Sammy case with a jimny rear diff housing drilled, tapped and bolted onto the Sammy axle diff half ( if that makes sense ). Inside is a Jimny ARB locker with Sammy side gears to suit the axles which are chromo 4340 items.

ps As you probably know Dave I am also running 285/75 x 16s. I have given them quite a bit of stick so far.

Samurai axles are around 50 mm narrower than Jimny axles.
