As title really, i've seen four this week with ticking engines in the 3rd cylinder area. Not tappets. Obviusly common but is it fixable?

This is known as "an un-documented feature" and was used by early Suzuki Engineers to let us know that the otherwise whisper-quiet G13BB engine was actually running. Drivers, prior to this feature being installed, had often engaged the starter motor when running up a hill in the mistaken belief that the motor had ceased rotation. Since the installation of this feature, we now know to hunker down and keep on trolling along.
