Got a 2 inch Jimny bits spring lift and procomp shocks but to be honest just aint enough clearance for them tyres.
So thinking for a hour on the lathe i can make up a 2 inch body lift and throw that on there before driving day next weekend so question is will that be enuf to clear the tyres or am a i wasteing my time ????? and what else will i have to mod to make it work IE steering column etc

I'm on the same size tyres, and have a 2 inch body and 4.5 inch suspension lift. I trimmed my arches by 2 inches and there is plenty of clearance. It does need some wheel spacers too as she is sat on 16 inch grand vitara offset wheels and the CofG needs lowering. As for the steering take the shaft off and either extend it by welding a rod in or crack it at the flange and put some tubes in, which if you can use a lathe i hope shouldn't be a problem.

hope that makes sense as i'm halfway through my second bottle of wine

Cheers for that mate wont be running to a 4.5 lift kit bit of a budget driving day toy until she gets tray backed
So will try the 2 inch body lift with the 2 inch spring lift see what that looks like i think she is sat on SJ rims with a good offset but do have a set of 2 inch spacers kicking around here so may fit them as well

I believe that if you want to enter competitions 32mm is the max size your spacers are allowed to be
