Thats pretty good bit easier than putting a blob of weld on the bearing race

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

Great tip if you have access to the exact sized socket. I found it quicker to just use a long drift than go and look for one 
On mine, the bearing ID was only a few thou' less than the ID of the rim on the hole so it would have been a miracle if I had the correct sized socket.

Did mine today,used a Draper 1'' socket and got a perfect fit.
