Hi I hqve a 1998 jimny it has had a baleno engine fitted what happens I turn it over by the key and it turns over no problem but wont fire but if I bump start it it will start, the battery is new and has a good terminals and good earth on the block. I was thinking it could be a possible crank sensor fault. Can any one shed anylight on this for me thanks
This is totally a guess without actually seeing the car but have you checked the ECU earth located near the temprature switch can do very strange things if the engine earth has become poor
