Got my lobster bolte on today but notice that when it's all boules up there is no play inwards on the front prop slider, is this correct? If not could I just cut a slice off the slider to give it some travel?

Are you using your standard front prop?
If your jimny is on the ground (body not jacked up) the prop will be in its inner most position anyway, its only when the axel travels down or forward (in big stepped ruts) the prop may come out a bit which in your case will be fine im running SJ crawler box and my std jimny and sounds similar to yours.
As long as the prop meets both flanges with plenty of room for outward travel it will be fine,

Ahh okay well I only ask as my dad seems to think its not right as if the axle moves back as the suspension moves it will just push into the transfer box? Not really sure my self but as you stated, the prop is as short as it can be as its sat at the moment, just didnt want to go breaking my new t box haha

Yes I am running standard front jimny prop with my rocklobster too. But I have 4.5'' lift so have a small amount of travel inwards when my car is sat level (about 25-30mm).
