Yeah but he is rite you buy cheap you have to live with the pit falls in design :( TBH tho a goldfish to winch challenge spec will cost you more than a 8274 with the same i priced it up and Warn all the way :)

Yes I know I have gone for the cheepo option but for me I cant justify spending more on a winch I will only use a handful of times a month. I understand it will have limitations but all I wanted to know was if people that can't access the lever put up with just having the clutch engaged all the time and let the winch out. I have cut the centre of the bar out today so fitting should be fine now.
