Thanks Adam ... so I have ordered enough 'swanky' Evolution 1 Fully Synthetic Gear Oil

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

Get an oil syringe from eBay Machine Mart etc

I borrowed one of those... absolute rubbish there was more oil on me and the drive than in the diff housing!
Annoyingly i wasted a bit too much for there to be enough oil in each bottle to do the job twice!
I'm doing my tbox, gearbox and diffs in a couple of months (March ish) and will be buying a cheap pump up weed killer sprayer thing! i'll then cut the standard rigid pipe and attach a length of clear hose to allow me to watch the flow as i pull the trigger. Warm the oil in a bucket of hot water before pumping to help a bit

I had similar problems with sryinge. I got mine from local motor factors, perhaps that was the problem. Should have gone to Machine Mart. I finished up using a short length of hosepipe run up into engine bay and then put nozzle of oil container into it.
Your idea of modified weed killer spray sounds like it could work.
