I have been thinking of fitting manual hubs to my front SJ axle since I dont like the idea of the chromo 4340 turning over and over whilst in 2wd. My theory is hard steel = fast wearing steel.

I just need to check and see if the SJ manual hubs are the same ones as supplied to fit the Jimny i.e. PCD, no. of splines etc...

Where have you bought cromo shafts from then mate? Cvs too?

I didnt fit them Kirky. I bought the axles from Gazwell and I believe he sourced the parts from abroad. He said they cost him around £200 all in. He's a member on here but not a regular visitor. I can ring him for more info if it's important to you.
