No Fwd when in 4wd was created by Dan_w
Hi guys, you may have seen that I took the Jimny to Silndon on Sunday to a play and play day and lost drive to the front wheels, today I did some investigation but I am now after some advice. I will list below what I Have checked and the outcome, if anyone can point me in the direction of what to check next or what the issue could be it would be a great help.

Engaging 4wd both hubs engage, they can be felt and heard clicking when activated.
Pipe work has also been removed at the hubs and using a vacuum gauge have confirmed that there is vacuum on each pipe when engaging /disengaging.
4wd selected and all 4wheels jacked off the ground drive can be seen going to both rear wheels and front prop spinning ... Nothing at front wheels.
Auto hubs removed and confirmed everything is free to move.
Turning the half shaft of either wheel does not turn the other end in the opposite direction, turning of both forwards does not turn the prop.
Removing the curclip on the end of the hard shaft shows about 5-10 mm play on both sides.

And that is as far as I got today, I was not sure how to fully remove the half shafts to investigate further. Does it sound like something is damaged in the front diff or one of half shafts has snapped?
