1998 JB33W G13B JIMNY IDLER PULLEY BEARING REPLACE

My idler pulley is whinning sometimes. If I spray it with WD-40 it's ok for a few days then it starts again. Was told the idler pulley assembly was very expensive but that the bearing good be replaced.

I need the part number for the bearing so that I can get the bearing andf then replace it. I have no manual and have searched forever trying to get a parts manual with no luck..

Anyone have the part number so I can get the correct bearing?

Yes I could pull the pulley off and disassemble it and get the bearing number but its my only vehicle thus the need to buy the bearing and take it home and then dissassemble it.

tbh it takes 5 mins to take the pully off so easy enough to take it off & check number / measure bearing & put it back on until u get new 1

i have a spare somewhere if i find it i will check number / measure it

Its a 6003 2RS (17 x 35 x Just go on simply bearings.co.uk or go to any bearing supplier.

Should cost no more than £3 for a good brand SKF, NTN etc.

Car suppliers always charge a fortune for bearings but people don't realise that they are so readily avaliable and cheap from the right place. You could even get one from fleebay if you search the bearing number.
