clutch change on a jimny is not that bad much better than doing on a vit anyway & gets easyer the more times you do it :laugh:
I find that the paddle clutch is much heavier over standard, but as my jimny is only a toy and does little mileage on road it does not bother me at all. If off roading on large tyres without a rocklobster then slipping the clutch is going to kill any clutch fast. Towing landrovers will not do a jimny any good.
My paddle clutch was from clutch and gearbox ltd in Leeds, and its been in for a few years and a good several thousand miles and have no complaints.
I'm currently looking into a lobster, might have found one that would do the trick just right, depends if my funds allow it. i've replaced alot of things on my jimny recently seems to be sucking every penny out mylife!
i'll have a ring around in the morning and speak to a few people see what i can get, i want to upgrade rather than replace i think tomorrows the dealine for making the decision on what clutch to get.
