Bolt 9 in the above picture is quite important as well

The remote mechanism forms part of the rear gearbox mounts (not in picture) these can break as well.

Just an update folks...

Thought it may be useful for anyone else who may be having the same problem if i give you the final result of this...

Basically, underneath the Jim, in the transmission tunnel where the shifter comes through from the cab, ALL of the bolts that connect the shifter linkage to the gearbox were loose.

I mean COMPLETELY loose. To the point where one had even already fallen out!!
All tightened up and missing one replaced, problem solved! B)

Just thought that may be useful for others to know before you go ripping apart anything!
