Hi I fitted new water pump today built it all back up wunt fire so striped down and look I had moved bottom pulley on can belt one tooth so sorted that so both mark was together and did same on cam shaft built it all back up again tryed it or turns over but will not fire any one got any ideas

i take this is a single cam as you mension cam belt that timong mark on the cam shaft did you lign it u with as there are to marks on mine

also do you have to remove the cam belt to change the pump iv never done one

Hi I dint line them up before I moved pump as I only had to take the tensioner off so I dint think I wouldhave but when iI built and noticed timing was out I put them both at 0degresse and it still won't dire up it will turn over but not fire and I have just tryed bumping it down road and I will fire in secondbut cuts out soon as I put clutch in

recheck the timing as in the pics just to make shore did you take any wires off any thing

Did you disconnect the battery during the work? Cos sometimes the remote wont work after disconnecting the battery and you have to reset it because the immobiliser stops engine from firing up. The instructions for resetting remotes are readily available and simple enough to do.
