G,Day.
My Jimny 2001 model 13A .
Air conditioning is not getting cold , sound like it is not engaging but everything is running.
I have had it to a air con mechanic ,the gas checked ok A/C motor is running, green light comes on ,but not getting cold ,He informed me that it was electrical and can not look at it for a week he is to busy .
Could it be a sensor.

Hi there. I had the same issue, my problem was a leak on the low line, everything worked but not cold air because of that. Simple 90$us dollars fix

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

If the gas is ok, and the aircon pump runs, either air doesn't go through the matrix: check the heater unit flaps work correctly, the expansion valve is blocked, or the pump internals are broken.
Do the pipes to the air con unit get cold?

The compressor is not running (your first post says it isn't and it is)
There is no gas (the compressor won't run)
The compressor has a major internal fault
The expansion valve is blocked.
The most likely explanation is the compressor isn't running, if your mechanic says it is an electrical fault.
There is something about the 4wd controller that rings a bell with me, the compressor won't run if it is in low gear, someone had a fault with the aircon before caused by fitting manual hubs, I remember helping him out, but the old posts have gone now

I remember more now, he had 2 problems.
The first was to do with the 4wd controller, IIRC we sorted that by removing it and jumpering the green/white and green/black wires at the controller plug.
The second was the actual air con switch. It is actually a 2 pole switch, and one pole turns on the green light, the other controls the aircon, his failed on the aircon side, so the light worked, but nothing happened, This switch is about a million squillion pounds from Suzuki so I think we sorted out a bodge job with an external switch.(the blue & red wire from the aircon/heater switch needs to earth out to make the compressor go- it actually connects to the blower switch inside, so it can only earth with the blower on)
