one of the air con pipes will be hot as its pumped under pressure and air con works on heat exchange is the air con fan running in front of the condensor(aircon rad)
when you switch the aircon on does the pump click (engage) and then the air con fan should run and cool it down
also does it have an out side temp sensor on the air con cos if this if faulty then it wont work cos it thinks its to cold out side and you dont need aircon

The condensor fan is turning very weak though.
When I switch on the air con it does'nt engage,( the pump does not click)
Where would the sensor be located ,Is it on top of the reciever dryer.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

No idea I'm afraid.
Do check fuse 8 (15A) that feeds the main relay first
Then
Find the blue wire red trace that goes to the switch, and earth it (jab a pin through) If the compressor engages it is the air con switch.
No joy?
At the ecm module pin 16, green wire white trace. Earth this. If the compressor engages it is the 4wd module or the pressure switch. Don't leave this wire earthed, the pressure switch is bypassed and damage/death/explosion/fire/flood etc. could result.
Still no joy?
Ecm pin 1 pink wire: this goes live to engage the compressor clutch. If it does, check the wire to the compressor clutch. Disconnect the wire to the clutch, and connect to 12V the clutch will engage, again, very short test only, as no safety devices are operating.

do you have a multi tester or test light
while the engine is running first find either 1 or 2 wires on the pump use a tester to see if it has a switched feed/earth at the pump if it does the pump clutch is no good
or if it dont have a feed/earth unplug it and put a feed to it if its a single wire while the engine is running and the pump should kick in if it does its the switch end of thing may be at fault if not it may be the pump clutch
to get the switch out around the speedo area at the top there are 2 screws remove them and then yank the hole black surround off and you then can remove the switch
