Hi guys,

Anyone using the above size tyres? if so what have you got in the way of lift and how much arch trimming was required?

Ive got a 2" suspension lift on mine and want to run some bigger mt tyres, 235's dont seem to give that much more clearance over the 215's i have on at the moment.

Will i need to alter the gearing in the t box if i go with this size? whats the biggest size you can get away with with out needing to alter the gearing?

What sort of offset should i go with on the rims?

And finally anyone got any pictures showing arch trimming and bigger tyres?!

Thanks for your patience

Joe

In my opinion you should have reduction gears no matter what the tire size is, because it makes offroad driving so much easier and more fun that way! ;)

i havent ever seen 265 75 15 tyres to be honest
but a 235 75 15 will be around 29'' tall , the 215 , 235, 265 part of the tyre is the width not the height this is represented by the second number being percentage of the width
so a 235 75 15 is 235mm wide with a side wall 75% of 235mm =176mm or 6.9'' per side of the rim .
