rear half shaft seal was created by markyp2000
i have fitted to rear wheel bearing and 3 seals all on one side and every 6 months or so it keeps leaking i have 2" spacers and the only thing i can think of is that it buts more stress on the bearing but why only on one side has any one ellse come across this

Is it the "long" side or "short" side, as in axle shaft length. I bet its the long side.
If so then I have seen this before with spacers.
Also you may have bent the axle shaft.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

Make sure that the outer surface of the bearing retainer ring is as smooth as glass, as this is the surface that the seal runs on. Some of the replacement rings have a rough surface finish.
You may also find that your axle breather is blocked.

You may also find that your axle breather is blocked.
