firstly hi to all members im new to this site.i have just obtained my first jimny and need to do a few repairs .the main one is that there is diff oil leaking from the rear passenger side hub any ideas how this can be repaired and what i would need ie gasket seals etc and where would i obtain them i have not done anything like this before so all advice i would be greatfull for thanks.

fit a new wheel bearing and half shaft oil seal that comes in the kit

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

If you go to the home page, pick the "information" tab, then pick "how to guides" there is a pdf file on rear wheel bearings.
you will need a big vice and an angle grinder to get the old bearing off, or you can take the halfshaft and bearing to a garage to have a new one fitted.
Fitting the new one needs a press, or a scaffold tube and a hammer.
