Jimny 2" body lift kit- help please guys was created by Allen
Hi guys how are we all..
I want to fit a 2" body lift kit to my 2002 reg jimny except from the kit it's self what else do I actually need?? I've seen that there's steering u-j extenders, is this a must?? Will breaded hose not fixed to shock (loosely cable tied) b enough, or will I have to make brakets and extend the reach?? And the only other thing I can think of is the gear knob and trans stick, do they react or can you get extension tubes??
Any help would b really appreciated
Thanks

Hi mate,
Right Iv not done this myself yet but its in the very near future. You need to extend the steering shaft. The kit is roughly £20. The Transfer box gear shaft needs to be either heated up and bent or the easy way is to put a small cut in the tunnel just so it goes that bit further back and I believe thats it mate.Or I would advise you to WD40 all the nuts and bolts for a couple of days prior to attempting the job.
Good luck mate let us all know how you get on and take some pictures and put them on here for us all to see how its done.
Thanks
James
