If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

The socket fixed under the dash is the data link connector, that a Suzuki scantool plugs into.
The manual shows the "monitor connector" as a small socket dangling from the harness next to the ABS controller.
I don't have ABS, but the picture in the manual shows it on the drivers side. This could mean up under the dash, behind the side kick panel where the speaker grille is, or even inside the engine compartment near the battery.
I'd start by lying on the floor and looking up above the pedals, then try removing the side panel- the door step trim has to break off first (it will snap the clips off).

you wont be ablt to cheak the rear abs rings as thay are in the axle with the wheel bearing i have a 2000 model i dont have abs take a look at the rear off the rear axle do you have a wire going to each side
you can test the abs sensors in a crood way by using a multi tester and checking each one by way or an ohms/resistance/continuaty test thay all should be nearly the same value but not 100% continuaty

When this happened to me it was due to the screw holding one of the front sensors in place shearing. The sensor had moved out and was too far from the toothed ring. It was a simple matter to push it in a bit to restore function. Took me days to work that one out!
