Not what you asked, but the fuel tank rusts on the filler spigot.
Mud is thrown around the pipe, and sticks between the rubber filler tube and the steel spigot and rots through. First you know about it is a slight fuel smell that you can't trace at the back, then drips of fuel when you fill the tank.
Make sure you wash this area off thoroughly after driving through mud.

Yeahgood point that Facade, I did notice some surface rusting at that point. What I have done as well as undersealing the tank is to extend the underseal some way along the fill spout to just past where the hose sleeves it, just as a further precaution.
