Remember you can always double up the line in order to double the pulling "power" of a winch.

A rocklobster is a hybrid transfer box with a gearset made from two different 'boxes that gives very low ratios, ideal for fitting larger tyres and crawling over rocks, hence the name.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)

And what many people don't know, is that there are also gear sets with much lower ratios available for Samurai and SJ(only those with 4x4 light switch, mainly SJ413/samurai but also found in some later years 410's too) transfer boxes. Those are a bit more expensive, but also they are much better if you need LOW crawler gears and less noisy transfer box(those welded rocklobster gears make a lot of noise).

So you all think 10000lb is plenty ? Only so I know when I get one see, I'll be having a friend to make me a custom winch bumper shortly after I've done my lift, so I'll get winch first for measurements cheers nathan
