Bouncy Jimny was created by JonathonMarshall
Hi all, its been a while but I'm back online! I changed the rear shocks from two very shot ones to two shiny new ProComp ES1000's. Great move I'd hoped, no! It now bounces along like the back end is on a couple of pogo sticks. It no longer crashes into potholes, it now bounces a few times even after the slightest uneven road.
I'm thinking they're either too hard and its bouncing on the springs or perhaps the springs are shot and its bouncing on the shocks? Suggestions please, its giving me a headache!

Hmmm a bit of a puzler
If the springs were shot id expect the truck to be sat low , even then i doubt it would bounce
I have the 3000's and it rides ok but still doesnt like speed humps . maybe you shocks are a little soft ? I duno just thinking out-loud lol

Buying stiffer shocks is an expensive way of doing it but right now I'd happily do it!

Ha ha yea not a very cost effective exercise
Are the shocks the only thing you have changed ? Still got the old ones ? Was it just the rear you have done ?
Sorry just trying to get a handle on this

Yes it is just rears, the two that were on I still have, one is completely shot, other one not so (yes they're different to each other :S) Annoyingly I bought two sets of these - a lass at work needed hers replaced too and it sounds like hers is doing the same but shes off this week so I can't take it for a drive.
