Well an hour in and very little progress. 1 down pipe to manifold bolt off, one seized, both cat to mid section bolts free but very tight. And mid section to back box bolts stuck and heads rounding! That's after 3 days soaking with plus gas!

The joys of DIY

Always undo the bolts when the exhaust is still hot it makes them easier to undo  so wear cloves  .

My back box is a very near future job!

My mid section to rear nuts are very crumbled... how would i go about removing these?
The standard back box from suzuki has bolts welded through the flange... so nothing to turn on the other side.

Also, how do you free the box off the hangers? and is it worth new rubbers?

The new system should come with all new rubbers and bolts, mine did. Therefore just chop it all off, rubbers included! Always use new rubbers for piece of mind if nothing else they're peanuts to replace if you don't get them with the system.

Black Jimny's don't get stuck!

Front pipe off, running engine did the trick. Rear box bolts totally rusted, no flats on heads. Think I'll cut the rear box off and fix the rusty nuts and bolts on the bench!

The saga continues
