Body Lift Help needed

I need to make a plea out of the BIG Jimny Massive for some Lift assistance.

In 2 weeks time I am planning to fit the Body Lift to the Jimny.
Whilst im happy doing this myself, I donot have access to a welder to modify the gearstick/ TX lever and maybe the Steering.

Is there anyone out there who knows what they are doing with the equipment that could help me ? Im happy to travel and bring Beer as a thankyou

I'd be more than willing, however Leeds is a bit of a trek in a Jimny!!!

Hmmmm .. If I put the road wheels on, I would beable to get into 5th Gear !!! ...

Well, im looking to get this done in the next week or so ... anyone in the south done it before ?

Im happy fitting the body blocks, but its the steering and the gear / tx selector that is going to give me issues.

Anyone fancy free tea / coffee & bacon sarnies ?

ooky where abouts in the south are you im in yeovil im going to attempt mine tomorrow body lift is done with out to many issues, the steering shaft im going to extend using a load of washers and a couple of bolts. but i shall let you know how it goes, and if its easy enough i'll let you know.

Hi, im in Andover, just up the road.

Ill be passing Yeovil tomorrow, but that will be in my TVR, as its off to Exter for a service.

Very interested to know how you get on. I really want to put the lift on, but the lack of skills and equipment means I usually have to pay others

im in a similar situation for certain jobs. mainly welding.
but if you have any engineering experience the lift bit is dead easy
