ok thanks martin

i'm going to try and clean them up again but done this a couple of times now and still get a bit gunge and leakage coming through
going to check the kingpins again and replace if necessary, ordered a new set so i have them if they're needed.
if i could get a cheap (ish) set of seals i'd do those aswell.
will keep an eye out on ebay

cheers

I recently bought some off ebay, theres a main stealer on there cgi.ebay.co.uk/Suzuki-Jimny-Swivel-Joint...Vehicles_CarParts_SM
Works out the cheapest way to do it, buy the bearings off martin then the seals off ebay.

They didn't come in time for me to change them though so they'll get done the next time, apparently they didn't get the email from ebay so they weren't sent out until i contacted them.

I would say eBay too but if you can't find them I could dig out the part number for you to go to a dealer and spend your port savings.

They can be done at any time with the hub assembled, the official manual says to cut the seal to get it on, and put the cut at the top.

There are some on eBay right now £25.98 each

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)

well i got the hubs and seals off tonight so will have a better look tomorrow to see if they're worth cleaning up.
got to the bottom of why i'm gettin gunge leaking from the swivel.
both kingpins had become separated from the holding plate, snapped. got some replacements to go on, also some new bearings so should all go together when i find time. if the swivel seals need replacing i'll order some from ebay
cheers
