Body lift spring spacers or longer springs?

If you can afford it go for spring lift , im not a fan of body lifts all they do is give you wheel clearence.

With body lift you make your mass center get higher and makes your car dangerous, because you seperate the cabin from the chassis.

Raise some more money and go for a suspension lift.

I have 31'' with 4'' suspension lift and some trim arches.

IMHO body lift can give you extra space for new tyres without altering your suspension geometry

will be fitting mine in a few

also, you will be only elevating the weight of the body and in suspension lifts the sum of all weight (body plus chassis plus suspension plus motor) goes up

it's good to have more suspension travel, so your car will not lean very much and keep wheels on the ground

but is also important to have space for the suspension you already have work or travel

mine with just spring spacers and shock extenders have already "increased" travel due to more space i guess. Don't know, but if flex more, can't explain

suspension lifts up than 2" can be very complicated and alter steering geometry, making the car dangerous on road also... so i'm going for 2" suspension plus 2" body lift for now...

best way is to cut arches, for who have the guts...

Mine with 4'' is my all day car. No steering issues. Also 6 times a year i go on trip back to my home town

which is 750km away.

Also every day and weekends i go fishing, another 250 km.

Make a google search and take a look to other sites and see what they say about b/l.

Also in a case of an accident the cabin may move from its place.

can't really say why the cabin cannot move also without the b/l then,,,

all i'd say is that both got pros and cons and should be done properly

things you read on the web also tend to look unilateral
