not always the hubs at fault i would start by checking all the vacuum pipes to the front axle first if not just replace the lot then you no thay are ok
My 4x4 lights started flashing whilst i was off roading on some really rocky stuff. After looking at the vacuum pipes i looked under the car and found i'd hit something and it had knocked the plug connection out the bottom of the transfer box......it could be this.
