i was going to permanently lock my auto hubs ( removing vac pipes and manually locking the collars ) but i have managed to source a pair of aisin manual hubs complete with the bolts and cone washers :)
does anyone have any suggestions about stripping , cleaning , regreasing etc before i fit ??
i will be ordering the adapter plates shortly from martin.
also when fitting the hubs should the jim be in 2wd , 4wd and should the hubs be locked or unlocked ??
cheers rob

Clean & lubricate.

There is a youtube video, but here is a web page

You fit the outside part then the centre has to be fitted correctly: some of the lugs are larger than the others.

Best done in 4wd, then you can jack up a front wheel and see if they locked.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)
