"van panels" to replace side windows?

Yes, all cars with a seperate chassis flex a lot in the bodywork, agreed (you can pinch your fingers in the door of a Morgan just by resting your arm on the door-top). Rallycars have replaced glass side windows with a material called Lexan, perhaps if painted, this is the stuff to use. It would be thin enough to have some flex in it.

The stuff im using is opaque so you wont be able to see in or out. If you did still want to see out im sure you could get some blue window tint material, but it would look less like a van because the colour would differ to the car body. I've spent ages with sample books trying to get my vinyl the same colour as the car and i've found the closest match.

I've now 'blanked' my rear windows with vinyl so thought I would upload some photos of the finished job.

would like to do a similar thing on mine but maybe one way so you can still see out and with a rhino graphic

Yeah the Vinyl is stuck on the outside. I bought 5m of 500mm wide vinyl from a company called Grafityp . It cost me £23 inc p&p (which was £8 ) and I still have plenty left. I'm still thinking of putting some graphics on the side, maybe the word Jimny in big letters diagonally down the rear quarters or chequers or something....
