Retro Fitting an autobox on a '99 manual jimmy was created by jimnydms
Hi does anyone know if you can retro fit an autobox to a 99' manual jimmy is it a simple bolt off bolt on job or are there electrics involved, is the auto any better or the any worse for off roading?

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

They are electronically controlled, so you need more wiring harness and the controller, as well as the flywheel from the auto and the gear shifter. Easier to get an auto car rather than convert yours.
