Yes definitely agree a hose must have become dislodged, check the rubber hoses between floor and radius arm and at both hubs, could easily have been dislodged when fitting springs.

When you put it into 4wd can you hear the hubs locking (or unlocking)? If you can hear it, then as with my old one when I bought it, check the rubber hoses havent been knocked off and put back on crossed over (makes it lock in 2wd and unlock in 4wd), or it would be a hub issue.
If there is no noise then check the hoses for deterioration/too loose or it has something to do with the pump.

I would go mad if I still had auto freewheeling hubs and they played up - I went for manual ones the day I bought the JimJam having read all the posts like this and that was about 4 years ago - if I got a pound for every post like this I've read since I could buy another set of manual hubs!
Throw them at next door's cat when it next does it's business in your garden and invest in a set of manual hubs, then the light can do what it wants and you just twist the knobs to set them to free when you go back on the road for any length of time!
