the jimny lean ???? was created by robs5230
i just changed the pads and after taking it out for a spin just happened to look at the front of the jimny.
it looks like the passenger side front tyre is sticking out from the arch further than the drivers side. on closer inspection the jimny is leaning at the front. down on the drivers side. to clarify, the wheels and tyres are the same on the front , spacers the same and the auto hub is in the same position both sides on the wheels.
the axle is not twisted nor is there any chassis damage, so it must be just leaning.

just been out and measured approx 25-30mm difference on front . there is also a slight difference at the rear possibly from the vehicle dipping at the drivers side front.

what is the best way to cure this ?? spring spacer on drivers side front ??
thanks rob

Spring spacer on the drivers side is the easy fix.
This is common as the drivers side is heavier.

my last jimny and my current one both had a lean

even when its flat some times it lean right, i think have i got flat, or has the spacer popped out

then other times if theres slight hight difference, only has to be half an inch in the ground and it will lean the complete opposite way

the 1 thing it does do is if i rev it up and left the clutch out quickly, its always the front left side that raises up as it accelorates

Do you need spring spacers front and rear to correct this or just at one end???

Just one spacer one the front normally does the trick
