The lift wont matter by the looks of the design.

Yes you will have to paint it red! :P

Depending on which (mine is set on the lowest of the holes) position you decide to bolt the dampers back on, it could foul something. Currently my damper on full compression just tickles the exhaust for example. Nothing 10mins with a hammer wouldnt sort out.

We used to have one of these type of brackets on our old SJ but the springs on that were so blinking hard I couldn't tell what difference it made on the road and I have no idea what difference it made off road because I fitted it soon after we bought her.

ORA say: Adjust the angle of your rear shocks allowing you to change the travel, articulation and ride quality of your Jimny.

I think it may allow better articulation but I don't know how or why.

As for ride quality - If it stops it being so crashy over speed bumps it can only be a good thing as they drive me mad - but you can't slow down too much for them in a massively modified Jimny or you'll look a bit odd seeings as it's clearly built to go over anything - yet a speed hump is causing issues!!!

I don;t think it's the shocks themselves that cause this for me as I've done Pro Comps and now I'm on Rough Country.

The only thing is I expect they will change the distance the shock allows your axle to droop as one end of the shock has moved. This culd cause the springs to dislocate if you don't have the bottom of them clamped. They might be best bought with ORA rear spring clamps.

Rob B - what's your thoughts??? I imagine you have spent some time testing them???
