Its ok i was going to a different site as I'm down in worthing.

well its parked on the street so don't want to fiddling around with taking bearings off in the dark as I haven't done it before.

There'll be plenty more pay and play days in the future and as it's my only vehicle I don't want to risk anything. ;)

Hi mate mines been leaking for about 3 weeks & I finally got the chance to do it this tea time. Its takes roughly about hours its a fairly straight forward job nothing hard at all. Its fine on the road for a few weeks but I wouldnt take it off road just to make sure. Down load the "HOW TOO GUIDE" on this forum nut for nut guide brilliant mate.

Good look mate

Right I'm going to have a go at this tonight as the weather looks ok.

Got everything I need apart from the sealant?

What sealant do you use?

I use liquid gasket

A small tube of Hylomar will do the job several times :)

Cheers! I ended up getting some loctite sealant stuff which looks like it should do the trick.

Got one side totally stripped down and ready for cleaning and re-assembly and half way through my next door neighbor came out because he thought there was a gas leak, but just turned out to be the stinky slime that was coming out of my steering knuckle... :S

rebuild tomorrow weather permitting!
