Need help/advice! Kingpin bearings. was created by Sam_
Want to go to a pay and play day tomorrow and was just swapping over to my mud wheels and I noticed quite a bit of play in the n/s front wheel, probably 3-5mm of up/down and in/out play.
Will it be ok for tomorrow? or should I put tomorrow off and spend the day getting dirty hands and changing the bearings. I've got the bearings but haven't done it yet so don't know how much play is "acceptable"
thanks in advance for any help received!

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

Get the torches out and swap the bearings.
Whip them off tonight, and fit the new ones at 7:00 tomorrow morning.
