can you help when i lift my clutch up when out of gear at the point of bit i get a nosie is it my trust bearing or input shaft bearing thanks

It sounds like the release bearing.

Comes and goes for me...

Take the small plastic cover off the out side of the bell housing a give it a good hosing out

hard to discribe mate like a spining nosies when you press clutch back down you can just her the engine then sorry hard to discribe it

If you mean a great whirring swishing noise in neutral with your foot off the pedal, that goes away when the pedal is pressed down, it is a bearing in the gearbox, most likely the input bearing.
Mine does it too. ;)


It also groans/honks from the clutch (I hope, if it isn't I have no idea what it is) if I pull away a bit sharpish, but the clutch is on its last legs: I intend to change it in the Summer.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)
