double din is twice the normal stereo size
you can get an adapter plate to fit a standard head unit
you will also need an adapter harness

try the suzuki breakers such as cam-suzuki (they are on ebay - search for breaking suzuki) and you should be able to get a second hand replacement one

It depends on how old your Jimny is, but to put it in simple terms if your Jimny has the four spoke steering wheel the setero is a standard DIN fitting, but if yours has the three spoke steering wheel it will be double DIN (that's assuming the steering wheel you have is the one fitted by the factory!)

Mine is a 2002 and takes a single din as standard however I've removed the clock/storage bin and fitted a double din by customising the brackets which came with the 2 din head unit (I didn't need to use a cage).

hey thanks for the replies i got it all worked out now , but wouldnt ya know it was driving today and battery light came on and i though it was because i been flooging the a/c and draining battery , so i turned a/c off and kept driving keeping an eye on battery light ,then i was stopped at red light and engine was chugging and i noticed little bit of steam i looked at temp and it was maxed out ,i turned engine off caused a big peak hour hold up and two kids helped me get it off the road when i opened the bonnet the alt belt was not there lol must of snapped , any way 2 hrs later after working out i had to take the other belt off to put new one on it was all ok except screeching tight belt but ill deal with that tomorrow iv had enough of today ...thanks for the stereo advise ill buy a cheapie on ebay next week and be confident it will fit .
