I meant your age not your trucks :laugh: as in i'm not sure if you're old enough to remember old motors with the setup. Old SJs used to have it if i remember, you would undo a wing nut and rotate one side of the airbox.

Its exactly as you describe it, it disappears into the wing then enters the airbox. If you look at it you should see writing and arrows on it.

LOL. Ohh, I'm old enough.59. Have investigated it further and as said before the pipe goes into the inner wing area and then comes back into bottom of air filter. Yes all is now clear, Thank you.

Yes, had one on the Minor I had about 4 years ago.If I could have got a rot free bodyshell I would still have one now.They were so simple to work on.
Mind you the Jimny doesn't seem too bad too work on,apart from filling gearbox with oil.There has to be an easy way.
