Caster correction + wheel base was created by ShuDuck
I was thinking of getting a set of 3" caster correction bushes, and at the same time use these to gain a few mm wheelbase by moving the front forward. Adjusting for 2" lift and use the remaining offset in the bushes to move the axle.I just need a little to clear the rear of my front arches at full bump after I installed rally flaps.
Anyone done anything similar?
Also, where can I find rubber 2" correction bushes? I can`t seem to find any

Bits4vits sells them

I dont think you are going to move the axle at all by fitting them. All the axle will do is turn but not move forward or back. To do that i think you would have to make your own radius arms
I could be wrong. You might be better of with polly bush ones. You can easily remove the insert and ajust it as many times as you want. Just tap them out with a a hammer. Once youve pushed a rubber one in thats pretty much it unless you want to mess around with a press.
Good luck

Here is a quick sketch, the dimensions are not from the real world. Let`s say I sacrifice 3 degrees of caster angle, I will gain about 7.5mm in wheel base. it`s a bit messy but do you see my point?
thanks for the link

Hmm.... thats very impresive! Took me a while to work it out but i see what you mean. I surpose in that case it should work. Give it a go and see what happens
. If it works you should put a diargram showing how to measure it out on the arms. Iam sure someone else will find it useful. I would defo look at polybushes, just in case it doesnt work, then its easy to re-ajust the angle.

It works, in theory. I guess there are only poly with 3" correction? I dont like polybushes much, but for this it might hold as it doesnt flex out often. Im off to explore google, it must have been done before

are you doing this on a lifted car or standard? in my opinon if your wanting to move the axle forward with standard ride height do it at the chassis end, weld washers on further forward then re drill through them. saves buying expensive bushes. if you've got lifted suspension then you will have to do some thing to address caster (ie bushes)
