Hi all just joined site and wanted to pass on a solution which has so far cured the "wobble". It showed up at 40 mph and dissapeared at about 50 mph, it was so bad that at one point in the wet i ended up on the wrong side of the road ( glad nothing was coming the other way ). I found out that i had a sticking brake piston on the nearside caliper. I noticed that the wheel was getting hot on that side, a sure sign. Anyhoo after stripping the caliper and freeing up the piston the "wobble" has gone, (touches a piece of wood). I still intend to go down the route of kingpins and wheel bearings just in case.
