A recent as in today convert to the Jimny I would appreciate some help. The black wire is going to ground and the white is dead. I have tried a separate earth and positive to the horn and it works.
Dont know if there would be a horn relay? Could be the switch itself thats going or a loose wire. remove the steering column cover and put a tester on either end of the horn wire and see if you are getting a connection. If you are then you will need to test the switch.
Got to the bottom of it. The relay is on the loom under the column behind the fusebox. Little black box about 2x2x1cm. It wasn't that anyway. The slip ring behind the steering wheel is fubar.
