Noice at back diff when excelaration only was created by DarrenH 4X4
I have a 2003 Jimny with the M13A motor in it, when i change gears and excelerate there is a clank type noice at the back of the car, could be rear diff, any ideas greatly appricated, Thanks

does it clank just once?
Could be a whole host of things that are loose and moving under acceleration...

Check all the radius arms bolts are tight and that all the bushes are ok, that was what was causing the noise from my rear end under power...

235/85R16 Maxxis Bighorns on 16" Rims, 4:1 Rocklobster, Rear ARB locker and on-board air
Corrected arms all-round, rear disks, Recaro seats and harnesses

Check for a worn UJ, make sure you do this by undoing the prop shaft completely at the diff end as sometimes the joint can fail in "stiff" mode meaning you cannot feel it just by wobbling the prop shaft.

On the 8th Day God made the LandRover -
On the 9th day he swapped it for a Jimny.

As goatboy says it could be a host of things, similar noise on mine was loose lower shock mounting bolt.
