Starting problem was created by Chilgrove
For the first time my Jimny had trouble starting today. I kind of sensed it was a fuel issue so kept trying and eventually it fired up and worked fine. I have recently fitted a new air filter (not Suzuki part) but surely that would not be the reason? The filter is German, made by Mann.
Should also mention it it not a battery issue as the engine spun over very well, just did not fire.

You may have dislodged a pipe or the inlet air temperature sensor when you changed the air cleaner, have a good look for loose pipes /wires.
There is a pipe from the manifold to the front wing that provides vacuum. If it is off the car will be hard starting when cold.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)
