Hope I'm not spamming the forum, if I do, please let me know :-)

All this Jimny stuff is very exciting, and I'm beginning to have a plan for what I need to my future offroader.

But I'm still not sure about tyres. And yes, I know this is almost religion :-)

I've come down to 3 different tyres:

Maxxis Mudzilla 31x11.5-15
Silverstone 31x10,5-15
Simex Jungle Trekker 2 31x9,5-16 (expensive)

I'm look for a tyre mostly for mud and as of that, It looks as the Mudzilla is the choice for me :-)

What's your opinion?

Tom

Dont worry about asking too many questions ...

Personally, I have always done well with the diamond pattern treads, but next, will be moving onto a Simex Copy (Special Track). .. Probably in a 31x10.5x15

I must say, I do like the Silverstone M117 Extreme, and they should have plenty of grip to potentially break something :-)

But, the wider Mudzilla gives the Jimny a more Fat-boy look. me like :-D

Will those tyre sizes run ok on a jimny? Or would it require some major reshaping of the wheel arches? I was just wondering as I also want to put larger diameter tyres on my jimny to help keep the diffs away from danger when I'm off roading.

Mark

I've seen what Mudzillas will do and they are pretty impressive at the boggy muddy site I go to
The cheaper alternative is a Simex copy such as insa turbo special tracks, etc
I'd love Mudzillas if i could afford them B)

Cool :-)

Do you think it's possible to fit the before-mentioned size Mudzilla's to standard 6" wide Jimny rims? :-)
