but as I use my 2006 jimny plus for deerstalking, mild to deep mud offroad.
No severe rock crawling and as the wife uses it midweek to commute in all weathers I dont require the total Tonka Truck look.
I was thinking of a wee body lift of maybe an inch and a half and a two inch lift in the springs area.
Would this allow 16" wheels and longer brake lines and what without cutting bumpers/bodywork propshaft spacers, castor correction shit would i need?....
Head up arse of Glasgow...................

PS..In my experience apart from shitty rattly doors and trim with a propensity for rust due to being built to a price and the ridiculous price of genuine parts Suzuki are serriously missing an opportunity with this incredibly capable off road tool....wheres the worthwhile Diesel option.?..My wee Jimny totally rocks from a novice point of view and has got me my dinner on numerous occasions.

As for the advice, i don't think you can get 16's to fit on the facelift without some sort of body mods. A 2" lift wont need castor correction.
Best solution for mainly road use but to cut it in the mud when needed is a good all terrain like General Grabbers or as a more aggressive option Kumho KL71, people say good things about the on road performance of these. Both are available for the stock 15's but will be a bit taller.
Great trucks out of the box and massively capable with only minor mods.

Black Jimny's don't get stuck!
