hi, first of all is there much difference between a 2" lift and a 3" lift? obviously an inch but off road wise does it make much of a difference?

my problem is at the moment i have a 2 inch lift and 2 of the shocks are gone, id like to get a 3 inch lift in the future but cant afford the full kit at the moment, so could i buy 3" shocks and use them with a 2" lift?

im not sure what shocks iv got on at the moment but the ride is pretty hard so to soften things up a bit would i be best with pro comp es1000 shocks?
any helps would be great, thanks alot

to save money you could fit castor correction bushes and panhard bar relocation brackets form jimnybits

whether it is worth the extra 1" lift depends on what sort of offroading you do - if its greenlaning the you don't need to but if its pay and play then it will help as it will lift the bottom of the diff higher which is useful if you in ruts made by heavy landrovers on 35"s
