Rear seat base removial on 2007 model was created by Toad
How do you remove the rear seat base on the later models? I am very reluctant just to use brute force as it will need to go back in some time!
Still think that the earlier arrangement is so much better, but know that it was a safety requirement to change it.
Cheers Toad

Hi Toad
you do literally just heave the rear seat up from the front so it "sort" of hinges then rive it off - sounds violent I know.
you can download a step by step photo-guide I've put into a pdf file attached
or here www.4shared.com/document/GK6AWWed/rear_seats_removal.html
I can't take credit for the original work, found it a while ago somewhere else, hope it helps.

I cannot see any advantage of the new seat arrangement. Just looks like its a cheaper method to manufacture.
